XBOX CARRIER LANDING

Is any else able to land properly on the USS George Bush using the Xbox? I have attempted a few dozen times, I'm approaching between 120 to 140 knots, and the hook will visualy catch the wire (arresting cable), but not stop the aircraft, it just roles right off the ship. I'm using the MSFS F/A-18 Super Hornet and I have disabled crash detection as instructed by miltech. Thank you.

    1. NOTE: This support requests refers to our George W. Bush Carrier, which is now considered legacy and lo longer supported. It does not refer to Supercarrier Pro

The effectiveness of stock arrestor cables is unfortunately a hit or miss. Some locations may be more or less effective. Norfolk should work just fine, as well as other locations near the US. This is unfortunately an MSFS bug, and the result of using the outdated stock tech on our Bush carrier. Some aircraft (eg. F-35) have their own arrestor physics built into the aircraft to circumvent these bugs.

Please note that USS George W Bush is now considered a legacy product and no longer supported. We are soon releasing the replacement product on Xbox - Supercarrier Pro, which has its own custom arrestor gear system that overrides the faulty stock arrestor system, and its universally compatible with all aircraft products out there.
