unwanted light source in cockpit at night M2K-C

i don't seem to find a solution for my problem. There is a white light source in the cockpit (kind of like dome light for airliners) that seems to come from behind the seat and prevents my cockpit to be dark or dim during night operations. i,'ve tried unbinding all light commands from all of my devices.(bravo throttle, warthog stick, keyboard) with no success, the light source is still present. sometimes it only appears a few seconds after loading the flight and after i pan around the cockpit or use the mouse. it is not linked to landing lights or taxi lights as i have tried to turn those 2 off and it didn't make any difference.
    anyone encountered this issue?

    1. Can you please attach screenshots of the issue?

Please also specify if FS20/24; PC or Xbox

hi I'm using fs24 on PC. SU1 (no beta)
here is how it looks from outside the aircraft. please note that i had both landing lights and taxi lights set to off in this pic. i don't know where this light source is coming from but it also shines inside the cocpkit.

it looks like others have reported this issue with other aircraft too on msfs forum. seems to be an asobo thing rather than specific to the mirage, but still i would like to find a fix for this.

              1. Hello,

I came up with the same blog posts as you. It does indeed seem to be a sim issue, which we cannot fix directly.

However, and interestingly, its not widespread. For example, I do not see the issue on my end. We continue investigating.

thanks very much for your quick answer, hope you guys find where this is coming from cause it currently prevents me from flying at night with the mirage.
